Adrian Zecha, Ralf Ohletz von Plettenberg and René Wilms belong to the leading developers and operators of luxury hotels and resorts. As founder of the famous Aman Resorts in 1988 and co-founder of Regent International Hotels Limited in 1971, Adrian Zecha has the reputation to redesign inconspicuous places to distinctive destinations.
René Wilms, Founder and CEO of Unique Hotels & Resorts, coordinates the projects and the business development of the group.
Ralf Ohletz von Plettenberg, partner of Unique Hotels & Resorts, played an important part in developing world-famous trade marks such as Datai Langkawi in Malaysia, Chedi Muscat in Oman, Legian Seminyak in Indonesia and Setai Miami.
The collaboration with famous leading architects and designers, such as Ibrahim Jaya, has led to many unique projects. The team has a distinctive handwriting in each project and stands for elegant, timeless design.
